The relationship between hazard of return and years of schooling is U shaped: migrants with less than 11 years of schooling are more likely to stay in the USA as the years of schooling increases. For migrants whose years of schooling is above 11 years, they are more willing to return as they have more years of schooling. From Table 2, the average years of schooling is 5.27. Also, 92 % of migrants have years of schooling under or equal 11 in the last US trip; so generally, the rate of returning decreases as the education level goes up, and migrants will stay longer in the USA
