Job creation, job destruction, net growth, job reallocation, accessions and separations are defined by Eqs. 1 to 6 in the main text, respectively. Column (4) has the coefficient of variation defined as the ratio of the standard deviation over the mean. Establishment size is defined as the number of employees divided by the number of establishments. Establishment size and share of workers with secondary degree are averaged across establishments in the city and aggregated at the national level using city-year employment weights
